Abstract

Advanced transportation services and technologies like ridesharing are rapidly revolutionizing the way people get around and encouraging cities to re-think how they manage mobility. Join Debs Schrimmer, Transportation Policy Manager at Lyft to hear how Lyft is working to integrate shared mobility and autonomous vehicles into city planning around the country. This session will focus on Lyft’s growing portfolio of pilots and partnerships across public transit, land use, and the built environment to help create 21st century transportation networks.

Biographical Sketch

Debs Schrimmer is a Transportation Policy Manager at Lyft, where she helps oversee Lyft’s transportation policy initiatives around sustainability, infrastructure, public transportation, and the environment. Prior to Lyft, she worked at Code for America, helping cities use data and technology to redesign how they deliver services, and as a transportation planner at the Sacramento Area Council of Governments. Debs received her B.S. from UC Davis in Community and Regional Development, and is an honoree of the Women’s Transportation Seminar.
