Dealers can and should embrace EV sales

Most – but not all – traditional auto dealers are “less than enthusiastic” about selling electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids, and for understandable reasons. The new technology is a departure from the tried and true and dealers say that plug-in vehicles are more labor- and time-intensive to sell than gas-powered cars.Customer satisfaction levels can be lower as well. UC Davis calls this all “troubling.” The study notes that both automakers and the government can make things a little more palatable.
