LAX halts free parking for electric cars

Starting March 1, electric car owners will need to pay full price at Los Angeles International Airport, as the change in pricing will hopefully free up spots for electric car owners who have been unable to find space in recent months. Daniel Sperling, director of the Institute of Transportation Studies at the University of California, Davis, comments on the problems that the airport faced and why “people were driving there and couldn’t depend on it”.
