Abstract

Besides covering some ways that writers can improve their composing and editing processes, this workshop will address the specific challenges and organizational issues of preparing successful grant proposals. We will zero in on the STC’s Doctoral Dissertation Research Grant as an example. For most of us, writing is always a work in progress, a skill that takes a lifetime to master–so even the most experienced writer will learn a new skill or find something that will benefit them in their future writing endeavors.
