This esteemed group of experts will convene to discuss the complex role of transportation data in addressing the needs of disadvantaged communities. This will include a discussion of how mobility data (from smartphones and mobility providers) can play a role, and where these data sources result in gaps. Speakers will share examples of where collecting better information through community engagement strategies can help to address questions of accessibility. There will also be a discussion of the role of federal, state and local policy priorities.
