Abstract

Jeral Poskey, Project Executive for Transportation Planning at Google, will share an overview of a variety of employee transportation programs at Google, many of which have never before been discussed publicly. Google suspects that their learning and data could be useful to researchers. In this seminar, we will explore how researchers might advance transportation research through partnering with Google’s employee transportation program.

Biographical Sketch

Jeral Poskey manages the transportation planning component of Google’s real estate division. As Google continues to grow in the Bay Area, our involvement in transportation issues steadily increases. Originally focused on providing transportation services to Google employees, the scope has expanded to include implementing regional infrastructure improvements such bike lanes and trail connections to engaging with local agencies to improve public transit. Mr. Poskey has a B.A. from the University of Texas and an MBA from Stanford University.
