Abstract

The energy transition necessitates significant investment in both production facilities and related infrastructure. This seminar will present an overview of how investors evaluate projects and companies, how policy and subsidy schemes tie into the investment decision process, as well as key execution hurdles that remain.

Biographical Sketch

Theresa Chen, CFA, is a director and equity research analyst covering midstream energy, refining, and biofuels. She joined Barclays in 2008 and has consistently been part of top-ranked teams in Institutional Investor magazine’s annual “All-America Research Team” survey. Prior to covering equities, Theresa worked as a U.S. economist in Barclays’ Fixed Income division. Theresa graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics and concentration in Finance and is a CFA charterholder.
