Biography

Siddhartha Gulhare is a postdoctoral researcher in the 3 Revolutions Future Mobility Program at the Institute of Transportation Studies at the University of California, Davis. His interest lies in data driven decision making, which includes – Data modelling (discrete choice analysis and artificial neural networks); Data analytics; and Data visualization. He is currently working with travel survey data and with other passive data sources such as streetlight data. Before coming to UC Davis, Siddhartha received his PhD in transportation engineering from University of Florida, where his PhD thesis focused on extracting travel behavior from Machine Learning models. He received his master’s degree in transportation engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from National Institute of Technology Calicut, India.
